One and the same, Sugar.

That's understandable. I'm just hopin you ain't goin on your days feelin awful still. Sometimes.... powers have a mind of its own, not many can wrap their minds about it being that way, but it's the truth.

But don't ever feel ya gotta use them. If ya feel comfortable not doin it, then don't. Just don't be ashamed of them, neither. They are a part of who we are.

It's been better. At least I was myself when it all happened, instead of being compelled by some other force to kill my friends. That was way worse.

How does one do it though? Not being ashamed of who you are, I mean. My true nature is someone who is naturally feared and reviled.

It takes a lotta time and patience. You start by lovin yourself. Find a thing that you like about you. It don't gotta be a big thing, can be sumthin small. And you keep on searchin things ya love about yourself.

What I like about myself, huh..?

It sounds like an easy thing, but nothing actually comes into mind. It's way easier to talk about what I love about everyone else.

It is one of the hardest things. But they say, in order to love others right, you gotta love yourself first. It hurts them, if ya don't.

It takes time to find it, like I said. The first step to anythin is always a doozy. But I do believe in ya.

My friends alluded to something like that once. I...had a bad time before, and I thought the best way to deal with it was to avoid everyone. They got mad at me for it. (//▽//) And that's when I realized I should take care of myself too. But that's different from actually liking myself, I guess.

Well darlin, I gotta agree with your friends, never isolate yourself entirely. It'll only make them worry about ya, and cause more harm than good on most things.

But I am a strong believer in safe spaces. I reckon every single one of us oughta have that lil area where we can take a minute to gather our thoughts and feelings. Have a space where we don't gotta worry about judgement and doin what we love for a short while.

Me? I do fancy my hair. Not a lotta girls got a head full of it like I do!

A safe space, huh? I never had one of those before. When I'm not interacting with anybody I just...disappear. Yeah - I'd like to have one of those instead.

Oh! I'd love to see your hair sometime. There's this friend I have who has the prettiest blue hair. I got to braid it once, and it surprisingly feels soft to the touch, too.

Sometimes I call my hair a skunk cuz of the different colors, but when we met, I'll let ya play with it. I don't mind at all! Sometimes it be a mess and I can't do a thing with it!

It's hard to explain, but it's all about cognition. I used to only exist whenever someone is perceiving me. By myself...I'm not Ryoji at all. Just something else entirely.

But that's all in the past now, so you don't need to worry about it!
